Can you answer Mommyhadadiva’s question about Massage?:
I am a massage therapist. I do one hour full body massages and I have the option of going to the person’s house or they come to mine and I can massage them in my zen room. I only charge $30 for a massage and I know that is really cheap. If you get massages how much do you spend on them? If you don’t get massages how much would you spend on one?

Massage Feedback: Most massage therapists charge at 45-60 bucks an hour.
Massage Feedback: Typical rates for LMT/CMTs in most urban areas I’ve lived in start at $1/min and get to $1.50/min for spas. This is for office practices. A home practice would have to charge less (probably $45/hr.).
IMO, have a first visit special of $45, a $60 one-time rate, and $45 for multiple visit packages).
Massage Feedback: In my opinion, if you don’t charge $1 per minute, you are cheating yourself. It is not just the time you are being paid for, but also your training.

Massage Feedback: 60 for an hour. sometimes they run specials around valentines day or something for like 45$$
Massage Feedback: The going rate is $60 an hour. Sometimes people will give a discount if x number of massages are paid in advance. For example, you can charge $500 for 10 massages. If you are good, raise your rates to $60!
Massage Feedback: I charge $70 an hour. Not everyone is willing to pay that kind of money once a week, but that’s OK. I only need 16 people a week willing to pay that kind of cash.
Massage Feedback: The old expression, “you get what you pay for”, holds true. If a client see you charge $30, and the see a high end massage at $80, I would look for someone in between. Charge $60 and pass out alot of 1/2 off coupons. It gives credibility to your services, plus the client is happy because they think theyre getting a bargain. The more continuing ed you have the more you should charge.
