Massage Feedback: I’m particularly fond of hematite… it helps to absorb stress and keeps me calm and relaxed.

Massage Feedback: I believe hematite really do wonders, but another alternative gemstone that I would recommend is the rosecut diamond which is quite rare because it does not have the good quality of diamond

Beside the healing power & it also brings good luck for business.

Massage Feedback: I don’t think you can really pick a best crystal. It really depends on the person. Quartz is very universal. The stone I use the very most is a big piece of magnetite. I live in southern Utah and you can pick it up on the ground here. It’s a great grounding stone, and I use it in all my healing. I also use what’s called a green fairy quartz from Brazil. This is my personal stone and I use it a lot for depression. Others I like to use, are Jasper, Cirtrine, Malikite, Rose Quartz, Kyanite, and Dark Amethyst. All good for different things. Go to a rock shop if you can and see which ones are your favorites. Go with your gut. Good luck!

Massage Feedback: that will depend on what needs to be healed!
for depression or calming best is hematite!
For body sores blood stone. For General healing rose quartz is best but clear quartz will work. I often use a pyramid shaped quartz stone and run it down the back of my spine! This gives me some more energy and reliefs the stiffness I’ve had in my back! I also use a clear crystal on my forehead to relieve migraine headaches!
Onyx and jade are also a couple of other healing stones but they also are said to attract money! When using a stone for a purpose always use it for that purpose. Don’t use the same stone for a different purpose. Birthstones are said to ward off curses unless you deserve the curses! You have to have the right birthstone for your sign! Sometime sickness or ailment is the result of someone cursing you!

    David G,

People have been using gemstones for centuries. They are mentioned in the bible and in history. They like herbs were used for everything between luck and healing.

Everyone has posted some of the general ones you should have in your healing first aid kit of stones. But some others you should have - Agates, good for treating headaches, skin problems, tired eyes. Amazonite for heart problems. Amber for metabolic imbalances. Andalusite helps with nerve disorders. Apache Tears for poor digestion. Apatite is good for bones. Way too many to list. On my website I have a extensive list of the gemstones and what they are good for. In my practice I have over 200 different stones that I use.

Another point I would like to make is not all stones are created equal for healing and healing jewelry. Stones should not be dyed and they should not be faceted. For the dyed, obvious reasons, you are not sure what you are really getting, plus even if it is the actual stone you are wanting, the dye will block some of the stones properties. Faceted stones have too many angles, they scatter energy all over the place, so you are not getting the full power. Best shapes and this includes in jewelry are raw, rounds, points and pyramids. Tumbled stones are fine as long as you know they are the real deal and not just a bunch of dyed howlite posing as a different stones. Hope that helps.
